Tourists Bullying Trishaw Man

Most painful to watch, to say the least. The video got cut off abruptly when the three men were about to enter the cab, but in an interview with the trishaw uncle in The Newpaper, the men apparently chose not to pay the uncle in the end.

Yes its not right for the three grown men to taunt and cheat the uncle like that but i dont see how the numerous comments like "fuck your mother" to the three tourists are going to help. In fact it just makes Singaporeans seem vulgar and ungracious. Moreover i think race has nothing to do with the bullying. It shows the lack of moral fibre in these three men but its just a coincidence that they are caucasian. To paint all caucasians with the same brush is an outright act of racism in itself so comments about these "three racist caucasians" somehow dont carry much weight.

Its disgusting to watch the cruelty of these three men.. but equally disgusting to read comments posted by Singaporeans. Embarrassing even. Im in no way siding with the three men, in fact i think they ought to be punished for refusing to pay. But the comments on youtube (AN INTERNATIONAL WEBSITE) is embarrassing to read and pointless since its not going to help the uncle in any way. Some people are even suggesting that the UK be bombed more often. Three men tormenting an uncle DOES NOT reflect the state of morality of ALL citizen in the UK. My cousin happens to be staying in London with my nephew. THIS INCIDENT DOES NOT JUSTIFY SUPPORT FOR TERRORISM!!!! Sheesh some people really dont think before they speak.

The Singapore Tourism Board has supposedly taken this to the British High Commision. Lets hope something concrete comes out of this. Not just vulgar comments about the genitalia or lack thereof of these men.
